Learn to ride and get licensed!

Welcome to Pacific Motorcycle Training, the top school to learn how to ride a motorcycle safely in the San Francisco Peninsula. During our classes, you will learn everything you need to know to ride and control your motorcycle safely. Whether you are interested in learning the basics of riding a motorcycle—and getting your license endorsement—or simply improving your motorcycle skills to be safer on the road, come with us and we will provide you with the best classes you can get in the San Francisco Peninsula. We are part of the California Motorcyclist Safety Program and all of our instructors are certified to teach the Total Control riding courses.

Our San Bruno site is only a 15-20 minute walk from BART, so it is a great option for students needing to use public transportation. (Note: if taking BART, sign up for our PM session and be sure to go https://www.bart.gov/planner to plan your trip.) The training location is also easy to get to by car as it is conveniently located off HWY 380 and El Camino Real, right between 101 and 280.

Convenient on-line classroom

The classroom portion consists of a six-hour course called eRider that can be done at your convenience and in the comfort of your home. It is highly interactive, using video and other features to address risk management, riding strategy, roadway management, impairments, and special riding situations like carrying passengers and group riding. Participants complete all classroom activities (6 chapters) before their first in-person motorcycle riding session. The motorcycle riding portion of the course consists of 10 hours of in-person instruction on gas powered motorcycles. The 10-hours of riding instruction takes place over two days and builds fundamental street-riding skills and strategies.

The eRider is a great option for busy students who are successful at learning in an individualized, self-paced environment. Please check our eRider FAQs page for eRider system requirements.

We welcome all San Bruno residents as well as future riders from neighboring towns such as Hillsborough, Millbrae, Burlingame, Pacifica, San Francisco, Colma, Daly City, Brisbane, and more.

"Great course! Wyatt and Issac were our instructors and were both very knowledgeable, nice, and very patient with our individual skill sets and questions throughout the course. 100% recommend specially as someone who has never ridden a motorcycle"
- Andres Ruiz, April 2026
"Incredible experience taking the beginner motorcycle training class! Kudos to our instructors Wyatt and Isaac, they’re a huge part of contributing to my cohort’s success. I went from zero motorcycle riding experience to having a basic understanding to operate one and continue practicing riding once I get my M1 endorsement. I’m excited that not only it was a fun weekend learning a new skill, I also get to use this as my waiver for the DMV skills test and I just need to worry about the written test for my M1 endorsement..."
- Jude C, April 2026
"Great training, great set up, the instructors were really professional and knowledgeable always ready to help with any questions, the motorcycles for the training where nice and easy to ride, trouble free, I already recommended 2 people that are interested in taking the class"
- Bernardo Padilla, May 2023
"Great course even if you have zero riding experience like me. Instructor Dillon struck a great balance between enthusiastic coaching, professional approach and having a good time. Lots of time actually riding and learning to handle the bike. You can bring your own bike if you check with the office first. My partner (who already rides) took this class with me and thought it was a significantly better class than other CSMP courses he has attended in the area..."
- Elena Morozova, March 2024
"Great course, Wyatt and Isaac are great instructors. Very kind and thorough with their teachings about how to control and ride a motorcycle. I highly recommend taking their beginner course if you're considering getting a motorcycle."
- Carlos, April 2026
"Excellent course and the instructors were on top of it. Awesome instruction from Q, Dillon, and Caruso! Safety was priority 1 with no exceptions. Course material was well handled, and there was lots of bike time to practice and get comfortable with what they taught. Recommend for any rider, with or without a permit!"
- Ian Lougheed, April 2024
"A very thorough course for beginners. The instructors were very knowledgeable and taught the class well. 100% recommend this course."
