(Note: if taking BART, sign up for our PM session and be sure to go https://www.bart.gov/planner to plan your trip.) The training location is also easy to get to by car as it is conveniently located off HWY 380 and El Camino Real, right between 101 and 280.

eRider option available at this location

At our San Bruno site, we are offering eRider. The eRider online classroom is a six hour course that can be done at your convenience and in the comfort of your home. It is highly interactive, using video and other features to address risk management, riding strategy, roadway management, impairments, and special riding situations like carrying passengers and group riding. Participants complete all classroom activities (6 chapters) before the first riding session.

The eRider is a great option for students who are successful at learning in an individualized, self-paced environment. Please check our eRider FAQs page for eRider system requirements.

We welcome all San Bruno residents as well as future riders from neighboring towns such as Hillsborough, Millbrae, Burlingame, Pacifica, San Francisco, Colma, Daly City, Brisbane, and more.

"Great way to learn how to ride. The course left me with much more confidence being on a bike then coming in. Learned about how to ride and the risk that come with it. Would gladly come again to take the more advanced classes."
― Christopher Vera
"The Beginner course is great! A lot of good safety and basic motorcycle operating procedures covered in the theory classes. PMT provides bikes for people who don't own one yet to practice with. The instructors on the course are very helpful and provide continuous feedback to correct riding posture and other nuances. I would definitely recommend taking this course for people who aren't comfortable or used to riding a motorcycle."

"Being new to riding, having an awesome 500cc Harley cruiser was intimidating at first but was so much fun and worth it! Instructors Mike, Lisa, and Tim were all very attentive to each rider to help identify things to improve on and build confidence throughout each exercise. Great communication and humor!"
