About Us

Pacific Motorcycle Training

Pacific Motorcycle Training is a motorcycle riding school where students learn the basics and gain confidence to operate a motorcycle safely. We offer motorcycle and scooter training classes at six great locations: South San Francisco, San Bruno, Livermore at Las Positas College campus, Woodland, Salinas and San Jose. These locations are easy to find and parking is always hassle-free.

Our basic course is CMSP-approved. This means students who take and pass our course receive a DL389 certificate required to waive the DMV riding skill test. We teach the very latest techniques in safety, accident prevention, cornering, and how to use a clutch as well as proficient braking.

For New Riders

Learn the basics of riding safely in a controlled environment and receive the certificate that may waive the DMV riding skill test. Our friendly basic riding course was designed for people with zero experience on a motorcycle. We provide motorcycles and helmets for you to learn with.

For Experienced Riders

Become a better—and safer—rider using your own motorcycle with our Intermediate Riding Clinic. Or take your cornering and crash-avoidance skills to the highest level with our Advanced Riding Clinics, taught only by the best certified instructors in the Bay Area!

"I would recommend the course to anyone who is seeking to establish a solid foundation for riding. The course curriculum covers a wide variety of safety and riding techniques. Chris the instructor has a great way of delivering both classroom and hands on instruction. This course has given me the confidence and safety practices I needed to feel comfortable while riding on the road. I can't say enough about the course. I am so grateful for attending. Special thanks to Chris for his patience and understanding as an instructor."

"I had a great experience taking the course over the weekend. It was my first time riding and Evie was so calm and confident I knew I could trust her coaching. The course itself sets you up well as a good rider and will probably take the intermediate and advanced courses in the future."

"This is class covers basic information, but that is often the most important! While a lot of it should be common sense, I'm not sure people drive with it around here, so it's a great way to learn to ride in a safely in a friendly environment. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn to ride motorcycles and be safe doing it. I also recommend it to anyone who wants a license in the Bay Area and doesn't want to wait 4 months to take the permit test and then another 6 months to get you M1. This class allows you to get your M1 if you are over 21+ years old with one walk in visit to hell, sorry the DMV. The staff are friendly, sassy, and helpful and take the class seriously. NOTE: BE ON TIME TO ALL SESSIONS, there is a zero tardiness policy, they have to do it this way to qualify as a replacement to the DMV riding test, SO RESPECT IT! Otherwise it's a great weekend in a parking lot on small bikes learning to ride safely by practicing evasive maneuvers through cones and fast stops to be ready in the real world."

"Great course that taught me the necessary skills while having some fun. They have a variety of bikes to learn on and the instructors Chris and Dillon were real cool overall great experience with the only one real downside being there can be a few too many people for the course I felt. 🤙"

"Ofir and Evie(Instructors) we re awesome! Plenty of knowledge and experience they pass forward. You might not nail it every time in class during riding but it extremely helpful and changes the way you ll ride. Helps you realize more of the things you should thinking and looking for while out riding. Awesome experience."

"Being new to riding, having an awesome 500cc Harley cruiser was intimidating at first but was so much fun and worth it! Instructors Mike, Lisa, and Tim were all very attentive to each rider to help identify things to improve on and build confidence throughout each exercise. Great communication and humor!"
