About Us

Pacific Motorcycle Training

Pacific Motorcycle Training is a motorcycle riding school where students learn the basics and gain confidence to operate a motorcycle safely. We offer motorcycle training classes at 7 great locations: South San Francisco, San Bruno, Livermore at Las Positas College campus, Woodland, Salinas, Cloverdale and Eureka. These locations are easy to find and parking is always hassle-free.

Our basic course is CMSP-approved. This means students who take and pass our course receive a DL389 certificate required to waive the DMV riding skill test. We teach the very latest techniques in safety, accident prevention, cornering, and how to use a clutch as well as proficient braking.

For New Riders

Learn the basics of riding safely in a controlled environment and receive the certificate that may waive the DMV riding skill test. Our friendly basic riding course was designed for people with zero experience on a motorcycle. We provide motorcycles and helmets for you to learn with.

For Experienced Riders

Become a better—and safer—rider using your own motorcycle with our Intermediate Riding Clinic. Or take your cornering and crash-avoidance skills to the highest level with our Advanced Riding Clinics, taught only by the best certified instructors in the Bay Area!

"I had an absolute blast over the weekend! Great team of instructors each day that were informative and patient with all of us. Highly recommend. It was a trip watching people go from never being on one before to riding pretty darn good a few hours later. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a seasoned rider TAKE THE CLASSES I promise you, you’ll learn something new."

"Tifa, Q, and Tony were fantastic coaches with clear communication and instructions. All of the instructors had great energy and focus to help and teach. It was an excellent beginner’s course with the CMSP certification (I passed the course and received the waiver in less than a week). I'll look to take intermediate and advanced rider courses in the future after some continued practice and skills refinement. Thank you for the training, and I highly recommend PMT to all new riders..."

"Loved my experience in class. I learned even more than I expected. Became an even better motorcyclist and this class was well with the money. Many thanks to Craig and his staff!"

"The guys running the course were great! Knowledgeable, relaxed and supportive. Unfortunately there was someone there, the first day, to do some surveying of the company or something. He on the other hand was a complete asshat who did nothing but confuse the students and shout random stuff angrily. I’ve put 5 stars despite that guy. I assume he’s not there often so I would still 100% recommend the company."

"For never having ridden a motorcycle, the instructors did an amazing job. It was well worth the money, and I had a blast! Would definitely recommend this course to anyone thinking about getting a motorcycle."

"I can't thank these guys enough. Such incredible patience and knowledge! We had a class with students from all walks of life and backgrounds, and these guys were able to make everyone's experience a very pleasant one. The classes were super informative and fun. They really do give 110%. Ray, Isaac, and Chris, thank you guys so much. You're absolutely terrific and it's been a pleasure learning from and getting to know you."

"Fantastic experience. Joey, Erin, and Anthony were great instructors! I had taken this same course at a Harley dealer, but the range guy there was a bit of a jerk... I mean I get it, with safety and all... And a lot of people don't pay attention to simple instructions... But c'mon, it's just a beginner class 🤷🏻‍♂️. At Pacific, it was A GREAT learning environment. And I loved the extra exercise at the end with them having us pretend that we were in traffic! I'm glad I signed up and will get some miles under my belt before I try the IRC! UPDATE: Just took the IRC and it's basically an advanced beginner course! Much less intimidating than what I thought it would be originally..."
