About Us

Pacific Motorcycle Training

Pacific Motorcycle Training is a motorcycle riding school where students learn the basics and gain confidence to operate a motorcycle safely. We offer motorcycle training classes at 7 great locations: South San Francisco, San Bruno, Livermore at Las Positas College campus, Woodland, Salinas, Cloverdale and Eureka. These locations are easy to find and parking is always hassle-free.

Our basic course is CMSP-approved. This means students who take and pass our course receive a DL389 certificate required to waive the DMV riding skill test. We teach the very latest techniques in safety, accident prevention, cornering, and how to use a clutch as well as proficient braking.

For New Riders

Learn the basics of riding safely in a controlled environment and receive the certificate that may waive the DMV riding skill test. Our friendly basic riding course was designed for people with zero experience on a motorcycle. We provide motorcycles and helmets for you to learn with.

For Experienced Riders

"The instructors were fantastic! Thomas, Erin, and Maya were all incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about motorcycles. Their enthusiasm was contagious, which made the course fun and engaging. They were patient and always happy to answer questions, no matter how basic. I felt comfortable making mistakes and learned a lot from their clear explanations and demonstrations."

"I took the Pacific Motorcycle Training course in San Bruno and it was an incredible experience. The instructors did an awesome job not only teaching in-class principles effectively, but demonstrating in the field why those principles are relevant and necessary if you’re planning on riding motorcycles for a lifetime. I had a great time in this class and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be a better, safer, and more proficient rider."

"Attended the ARC1 in San Jose. The instructors were great and the course was interesting both the "classroom" and the practical aspect. What really surprised me, was at the end of the course I didn't think I got much out of it, a few pointers maybe, but I felt like it wasn't worth the time... I was wrong!! As soon as I got on my ride home over Hwy 17, I realized very quickly that I was much more relaxed, rode faster, and yet more safely, and expended much less energy while doing so, the corners flowed with zero tension..."

"Took this training course and never been on a motorcycle. I took the classroom portion on eRider prior to practice riding range. This made it easy as it was going at my own pace. Really get to focus on what was being taught. The first day of riding portion, they’ll teach you where the controls are on the bike and a lot of slow maneuvering and Taking corners. Thomas and Mark was very patient. I was tentative but they kept reminding me to trust the process..."

"I had a great time taking this course! The instructors Craig and Issac, were patient with me and answered all of my questions. (I hope I didn't ask too many!) They were very informative and made me feel confident, and now I can be a better rider and also a better driver too! I would recommend this course to anyone in the Bay area no matter what level of rider you are."

"Great school! Great instructors: Craig, Chris and Ricky are all passionate about teaching others the ins and outs of safe motorcycling. 45 year rider with prior training and I learned new things. If your thinking about taking the course…do it!"
