About Us

Pacific Motorcycle Training

Pacific Motorcycle Training is a motorcycle riding school where students learn the basics and gain confidence to operate a motorcycle safely. We offer motorcycle training classes at 7 great locations: South San Francisco, San Bruno, Livermore at Las Positas College campus, Woodland, Salinas, Cloverdale and Eureka. These locations are easy to find and parking is always hassle-free.

Our basic course is CMSP-approved. This means students who take and pass our course receive a DL389 certificate required to waive the DMV riding skill test. We teach the very latest techniques in safety, accident prevention, cornering, and how to use a clutch as well as proficient braking.

For New Riders

Learn the basics of riding safely in a controlled environment and receive the certificate that may waive the DMV riding skill test. Our friendly basic riding course was designed for people with zero experience on a motorcycle. We provide motorcycles and helmets for you to learn with.

For Experienced Riders

Become a better—and safer—rider using your own motorcycle with our Intermediate Riding Clinic. Or take your cornering and crash-avoidance skills to the highest level with our Advanced Riding Clinics, taught only by the best certified instructors in the Bay Area!

"🏍️ Fantastic Beginner Experience: Boosted Confidence on the Road I recently completed the motorcycle course on April 27-28, and as someone with minimal experience, I can't emphasize enough how valuable this course was for me. Not only was it incredibly enjoyable, but it also significantly enhanced my confidence in handling a motorcycle. The instructors were the true stars of the show. Their wealth of experience was evident, and they adeptly conveyed essential knowledge while making the learning process engaging and fun..."

"PMT was awesome! I’ve been riding a few years and still learned so much! Mark and Zack are great teachers! They explained everything very well and made sure everyone understood. I’ll be going back to the intermediate class and talked one of my friends into going also, definitely worth it. Hopefully I’ll get mark and Zach as instructors again! 🤘"

"Zack was a very understanding and caring instructor. Answered questions outside of the classes scope when brought up and taught that basic teachings weren't the be all end all. Amazing experience and teachings."

"Wonderful motorcycle school! My English is not very strong, so I used an interpreter during the lessons. The team of professionals always made sure the interpreter had time to explain everything to me, so I could fully understand and learn. Thanks to them, I became a confident motorcycle rider. Before this, I had no riding experience, but in just two days they taught me step by step. Huge thanks to the school and the amazing team — I highly, highly, highly recommend them!"

"This course was a great value! The instructors have a fantastic breadth of knowledge and know exactly how to make their wisdom stick with the students. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants a leg-up on motorcycle safety which, in this day and age with more and more people on the road, is a necessity."

"I took the Pacific Motorcycle Training course in San Bruno and it was an incredible experience. The instructors did an awesome job not only teaching in-class principles effectively, but demonstrating in the field why those principles are relevant and necessary if you’re planning on riding motorcycles for a lifetime. I had a great time in this class and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be a better, safer, and more proficient rider."
