The Refresher Class is designed for improving the riding skills of any beginner rider who wants more practice on a motorcycle before riding on the street. Students should already be familiar with the friction zone, shifting and breaking before signing up for this class. This class is ideal for students who have already taken the basic licensing course but have not experienced a lot of seat time outside of a parking lot, or for students who are licensed but have not ridden in several years.

Cost: $265. Bike rental included.

IMPORTANT: This class will give you extra practice, but CANNOT be accepted for credit toward receiving a DMV DL389 waiver form.

This three hour course class is currently being held in South San Francisco on select Saturdays from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.

"I am training to be an instructor and it is required to take several classes to get an understanding of the program from a new rider's perspective. I am impressed with how well the program works I have been to 1 class and then I was a student both times I watched Evie teach very new students ranging in age how to ride a motorcycle. She is a great teacher and is very good at giving positive feedback and helping the students if they need help in a certain drill. I have been riding for 50 years and it was a good opportunity for me to see if I have learned the proper skills...this helped to reinforce what I have learned but is a good reminder that just because I have been riding for 50 years doesn't mean I learned the proper skills. This program will teach you the skills you need to ride a motorcycle."

"Great school, I was a previous dirtbike rider. After completing this course my riding skills definitely improved. I have learned techniques and skills to be a better and safer rider. Picked up a 2008 Kawasaki ZZR600 and enjoying it and can ride with confidence thanks to the knowledgeable instructors. Would recommend PMT to any beginner or even experienced riders."

"I had a great experience taking the course over the weekend. It was my first time riding and Evie was so calm and confident I knew I could trust her coaching. The course itself sets you up well as a good rider and will probably take the intermediate and advanced courses in the future."

"A must for anyone thinking of riding. The instructors are amazing and actually care about you learning vs just trying to get you through the lesson. The exercises are useful and to the point, none of the time is wasted on anything you wouldn’t use on the road."

"It was a great experience. Crusoe, Aaron or Adam? and Mike were all exceptional and explained everything simple enough for me to learn the basics to riding. I have little to no experience prior and I feel a lot better after taking the course."

"Great course even if you have zero riding experience like me. Instructor Dillon struck a great balance between enthusiastic coaching, professional approach and having a good time. Lots of time actually riding and learning to handle the bike. You can bring your own bike if you check with the office first. My partner (who already rides) took this class with me and thought it was a significantly better class than other CSMP courses he has attended in the area. Very fun, highly informative, super recommend it as a way to try out riding and gain handling skills."
